This place is such a hidden gem. The floral around the property is beautiful. For us the local was perfect, but a short drive from town. But worth it. So peaceful and rustic. Telmo who runs ithe place is friendly and very knowledgeable about the area . Breakfast is made fresh for you. Hope to return again.

The property was wonderful. I booked the place last minute despite my in and out internet service. (Not to self pay for a month of international service next time you travel). Anyway, I was arriving past the checking time but Florita the host had no problem. As an aside I was planning on taking the Water Taxi to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala from there. She was kind enough to set up a taxi ride for me and even made me an early breakfast. (Ask her how to find a ripe Papaya). Punta Gorda is a small town. Fun to wander around but for me I enjoyed the sounds of nature and silence. Oh! the rooms and apartments are lovely.

Amazing setting, secluded. Lots of birds. Swimming pool that was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. Staff looks after your every need. They have a restaurant and the food was outstanding. They were able to accommodate our vegan eating habits. Lovely hot water showers. Ours had a garden view.

The setting at Tropical Magnolia is stunning…. lush tropical vegetation envelop the beautiful cabanas which are linked by a raised walkway covered with thatch. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. They have a number of kayaks guest can carry across the street and paddle in the Gulf of Honduras. Full Kitchens if you don't want to eat out.
