Friendly hosts and nice view. Kitchen was fairly clean and the stay was comfortable. The bear safari seems to be a good attraction but we didn’t try it personally.

The host was excellent, a lovely lady who was a great help to us. Location gave a great wilderness experience. The cabin had all we needed, the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely consider returning in the future. Stephen

There's pretty much nothing in Blue River except a few hotels and a few gas stations. An ok place to stop for the night between the Coast and Edmonton, but there's nothing to do there in the summer.

We have been stopping in Blue River for years .

We have been stopping in Blue River for years .We loved the Blue River Motel, but they no longer accept travelers. I have tried 2 other Hotels and they felt unsafe(they gave me an adjoining room),did not provide what was asked for in the kitchenette(a pot for the microwave and the next time a bowl for the stove). The Glacier Mountain Lodge is my go to now. We also found out about Elenore Lake ,after coming for many years!

If you’re looking for a clean, family friendly and modestly...

If you’re looking for a clean, family friendly and modestly priced cabin to stay in, I would recommend Blue River. There were a couple of things that I didn’t care for. The campsite was crammed full, with RV’s parked within a stones throw of the cabins. I will admit it, however, that it was quiet after 10pm. Also, the hot water tank used for our cabin didn’t hold much hot water. My husband showered first and although he was quick used up almost all of the hot water. I had a hair full of shampoo when the water switched to cold. I rinsed and got out. Enjoyed breakfast and coffee, then finished my shower before we departed. The couple that run the cabin/campsite are really lovely. Overall, I was impressed with our experience.

Blue River was a perfect break in our trip from Edmonton...

Blue River was a perfect break in our trip from Edmonton Area to Kelowna. Our room was clean, quiet and the staff were very friendly and offered suggestions for walking and eating. We enjoyed a walk along the river and had a tasty bite at the Grizzly Food Shack as recommended by staff.

There is a River Safari where you can take a 1 hr boat ride in the Mud River and Mud Lake with possibilities of seeing wildlife (we only saw an osprey and her nest). The tour costs $110. Blue River doesn't have any restaurant. The only place is a burger stand.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the indoor hot tub was a great bonus after a long drive. The Continental breakfast selections were good and the breakfast room was clean and comfortable. Our room was Clean and the beds were comfortable too. The shower has plenty of hot water. It was a nice basic hotel in a good location for a stop mid way on our drive from Edmonton to Osoyoos . We did not have a chance to try the little Cafe in the parking lot but it has great reviews.

I stayed in two of your cabins this summer. What a great idea for someone on a budget that can't afford peak time hotel rates. The cabins are very clean and comfy. There were washrooms with showers close by. There is also a outside kitchen for anyone to use. Amazing. Great half way point between Alberta and BC. Hands up to the hosts:)

We were close to the lake in Blue River so we could take our dog for a little swim after the drive. The booking.com site didn't let them know that we were travelling with a dog although i had stated that in my request for a pet friendly room. They were able to accommodate us.
