We liked everything about this hotel. It was well maintained, clean and in a good location for nearby facilities, restaurants etc.. We really appreciated being able to come down and get a cup of tea whenever we needed!! The breakfast was exceptional and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Good location also to get to the airport. We would stay here again if we should return to Canada.

As an experienced traveller, I can say that this accommodation has everything you need - the location is great, in a new neighborhood, with plenty of parking space and possibilities to get around easily without any traffic hassle. The place is new and perfectly clean, the bed large and comfortable and the area is quiet and safe so it’s easy to sleep long if you are tired. The hosts are very welcoming, making sure the guest has everything they need. Lot of attention to detail! I would definitely recommend staying here!

We were so pleasantly surprised by our stay at 181 Oceanside Inn. We stayed with our two daughters of 12 and 8 and enjoyed our visit enormously, The staff there were exceptional and went out of their way to be hospitable and welcoming, greeting us every morning with a delicious breakfast. The room and the adjoining bathroom were spotless and the views across the bay were outstanding. It felt like we were staying in a home with every amenity rather than an anonymous hotel.

The family-run Clifty Cove Motel is situated in the fishing village of Indian Harbour, just 3 km from the Peggy’s Cove. All the rooms are ocean front overlooking St. Margaret’s Bay.

The room was unexpectedly large, clean, and had a lovely view of the water. I appreciated the recommendation of dining at the restaurant Rhubarb which was just half a mile away--what a delightful ambience and delicious food.

Besides the beautiful contemporary design of the public spaces and the rooms, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. We had lunch at the Drift Restaurant which was delicious. Everytime we fly into Halifax this hotel is our favourite place.
