- Outstanding service from all - Greg, Filipe, Anna, and Nuno. From the first communication weeks before we arrived all the way through. - Excellent food and wine options - better than expected, reasonably priced. Interesting selections, locally sourced, etc. - Lovely secluded location with an east 15-minute walk to the edge of town. It is not central. Which was great for us. - Comfortable beds, well-kept rooms, plenty of bedding available

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is conveniently located close to the centre of Saas-Fee but in a quiet location. It's architectural design is beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The toiletries were really nice. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. We really appreciated being able to have an early breakfast and being given a little bag of snacks and water after we came back from a long day in the mountains - it is small details like this that really makes this hotel special. Room service was great as well. The transfer service to the bus station was also excellent. We highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast was stunning. Made to order omelettes, fresh juices, fresh meats and local products. I am generally a solo woman traveler, aged 45. This time to Europe, I brought my husband and three children. On a whim from a previous pit stop on the Glacier Express I booked a one night stay in Brig, at the Hotel De Londres. From booking to check-in, to the arranging of tickets to Brigerbad, Monika was amazing. Switzerland makes America look like a joke- which is why on my fourth visit to Switzerland in the last four years I wanted my family to see it's amazing people (like Monika and staff), scenery, hotel opportunities (like De Londres), and overall goal of life to be self-fulfilled by simply........breathing the air around. Although we visited Zurich, Lucerne, Bern, Milan and Venice besides Brig, guess where the rest of my family wanted to stay just a few more nights than ANYWHERE else- Hotel De Londres in Brig. Bravo! We love Saas-Fee and tend to visit once or twice a year. Our usual hotel had been sold and shuttered, so we needed to find a new place to stay. We have passed by La Gorge several times over the years and thought it intriguing, so decided to give it a try. We were absolutely delighted! It is a family run boutique hotel that has been newly renovated. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the gorge and river. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming- we look forward to visiting again!
