The hotel was exceptionally clean with friendly staff. Despite the language barrier, they could still communicate and attend to our needs. Good breakfast service. Its location is a stone throw away from the shopping mall.It was a home away from home experience.

This Hotel was much bigger than what we expected. It's a big facility and there is parking right outside the room even though you live on the second floor (there is two floors). Be aware if you live on the second floor that there is no elevator only stairs. The reception was very friendly and helpful. On our visit it was the October fest and some part of the facility held a party during the evening which we had no idea about. There was loud music coming from it untill the evening, since we where driving the whole day we wanted to go to bed quite early around 10 pm. It was unfortunate that there where no earplugs to buy in the hotel or nearby. But we still enjoyed our visit.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and it never disappoints. Large rooms, with the typical Swiss austerity, but large, with comfortable beds, large bathrooms and a small but nice balcony. It has efficient light (blinds) and acoustic insulation (due to the noise of the constant passage of trains). The wi-fi connection is very good. The breakfast buffet is diverse, extensive and generous, with a multitude of products, including hot dishes that are either on the counter or can be ordered from the friendly ladies. Ideal hotel for train travelers, due to its location in front of one of the largest stations in Switzerland, which allows for multiple excursions. In addition, it is one of the hotels in the country with the best quality/price ratio. And if you are also a railway fan, ask for a room with a view of the station: you will really enjoy it.

We were expecting an en-suite room but actually got a whole...

We were expecting an en-suite room but actually got a whole apartment. Severin is a fabulous attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed including the dog (he even had his own room). Very beautiful & well equipped apartment both with equipment and goodies - you really didn't want for anything. The dog walks are straight from the house either through the woods or around the local fields. We enjoyed sitting on the small balcony and watching the local wildlife in the trees. We can highly recommend it to anyone.
