Our stay at the hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. The location is splendid, offering convenient access to the main scenic spots, and the atmosphere is pleasantly tranquil. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with a balcony providing absolutely lovely mountain views – it felt rather like waking up in a landscape painting. The breakfast was quite impressive, with a professional selection that caters well to international guests. We were particularly pleased with the service; the staff were consistently helpful and polite. Special mention must be made of Wendy, who arranged our airport transfer in advance and assisted with ticket bookings and itinerary planning – all handled with commendable efficiency. All in all, a most agreeable base for exploring Zhangjiajie. Would certainly recommend to fellow travellers seeking comfort and convenience in this remarkable region.

We were thoroughly impressed by the remarkable convenience of the location—merely a short stroll to the park entrance. The breakfast offered a satisfactory selection, served in an elegant setting, while the fitness facilities were well-maintained and adequate for our needs. The reception staff proved most helpful, assisting with ticket bookings and offering thoughtful suggestions in impeccable English. We had a fantastic experience at Avatar Peaks! The location right at the base of the mountains is breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and efficient—they helped us book all our park passes and the complimentary shuttle made getting around a breeze. The pools were a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking, and the breakfast buffet with local options was delicious. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. We’d definitely return and highly recommend it to fellow travellers!

Mountain side was a fantastic base for our family, friendly staff, quiet and comfortable, away from bright lights and noise to wind down after spending all day out exploring Zhangjiejie National park and Tianmen mountain. The staff were very attentive to our needs and helped my wife as she has difficulty with the steps due to too much walking. Great mountain view from bedroom! Too cold to sit at balcony to enjoy the majestic view. Very comfortable bed. Provided transport service to where we wanted to go from arrival to departure. Will want to stay here again but will choose a warmer season to enjoy their surrounding and BBQ.
