This was my best vacation ever and it was all because of the staff of the hotel. The hotel itself is unique and beautifully designed but the staff and the owner are the nicest and warmest people I have ever met. They will do everything possible including arranging tours, giving you great suggestions and the staff is just fantastic. The hotel is always super clean and the room is perfect. I have travelled all over the world and I have never felt more comfortable in a hotel than I have felt at Refugio del Jaguar. The location is close to everything and you can easily walk to get around. The saddest part for me was leaving to come back home. Thank you Hotel Refugio del Jaguar for an unforgettable vacation. I will definitely be back this year. Love from Jamaica

Viajero Medellin is a clean hostel, great community lots of activities and perfect location. What I liked the most though, was how the staff takes care of the guests. Especially Maria and Gabi! We had a problem with one of the activities we participated through the hostel and Maria and Gabi were really passionate about finding a solution for us. Despite the fact of already having a lot to do they took our matter serious and engaged in several calls to fix everything for us! staff like this makes the visit in Viajero really special! thank you Maria and Gabi!! would could back because of this service anytime!!

Despite a mini hiccup upon arrival, everything was handled quickly and to my expectations. Incredibly kind and dedicated staff, from reception to restaurant service. With a special plus for John and Walter who were more than fantastic. The staff is definitely attentive to your needs and will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. Superb hotel. Impeccable cleanliness, the bed is comfortable, very nice room, hot water, almost silent air conditioning and the rooms are well insulated. The breakfast is superb, it has everything and more. The location is super beautiful, surrounded by trees and waterfalls. A good walk on the other hand to get to restaurants and where there is action. But everything is done well with a taxi in less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this hotel. It was perfect. Thank you for everything Leterra Hotel.

Everything was great! Amazing hotel and one of the best we've ever stayed in. It was all 5 star. Huge breakfast with lots of yummy choices. Very safe location, with restaurants & cafes nearby. The aparthotel is very convenient located in El Poblado, close to Provenza area that is full of restaurants, bars, stores. The apartment we received is spacious, clean and very well equiped with everything you need. Has a washing machine and drying space. Nice medium sized balcony. Kitchen well equipped. The bonus for us was the roof top pool and the gym, both with great views of the city. Pool is heated and with a decent size, it was never crowded, despite holiday season. Reception staff very nice, available 24/7. We highly recommend the aparthotel

Medellin is a beautiful city and charming people. So many things to see, beautiful upscale Shopping Malls, to Christmas lights to gastronomic areas. Be aware of traffic, bur well worth a visit if you ever get a chance. I love to walk, so whenever I book a place everything is walkable for me. Indriver app works best and very inexpensive to use to get around.

There is so much to do and see in Medellin, that it would take several trips just to get started. Friendly people, great weather (especially for those of us who don´t mind a short shower in afternoon or evening. Plenty to see in Medellin and allow for day trips around the area. So many great places to eat and real, authentic food and variety. Easy to get around with Uber or public transportation. The metro is the finest in the world. You will absolutely love Medellin

People were great hosts. Nice city but contrasting. Our tour company _nexttour_colombia and our guide Alex were the best. That made all the difference! Guatapé, Alto del Chocho, Viejo Peñol, Piedra de Peñol, Casa al Revés, barco por la represa, Parque de Inflexión, Plaza Botero, Provenza, Comuna 13, Metro cable, Casa museo Pablo Escobar, cascadas de Tequendamita, San Antonio de Pereira, entre otros.

The word that defines Medellin is eclectic.

The word that defines Medellin is eclectic. Each neighborhood is a town in itself. It is better to be with locals that know well the city because of the heavy transit (I don't recommend rent a car but use Uber or taxis that are very cheap, only few dollars, also to go in the Metro and gondola is very safe). Another good thing about this city is the nature all around and all the buildings are built taking care of that. Probably Medellin has the best architects and builders of the world, not only their designs are good but they have build building towers on the top of the mountains around and still in the middle of the rain forest. And yes, as all big cities in the world they have homeless specially in the old downtown part but you need to go there because there you have the Botero Park where many of his statues are concentrated and some very interesting buildings like the tallest in the city designed after the shape of a needle. Provenza neighborhood is the hispers one, and Poblado is very posh too and you have Malls like "El Tesoro" that includes top views of the city from the top. Regarding food you will find the typical food and then the Italian, Spanish, Greek, Chinese restaurants too. I did not eat a good pizza but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist but I had the impression that pizza and bread are different and not European style, still very good but different. The best to me was being in a "finca" for two days, you have the best views and the weather is fantastic, a little cooler, Medellin has a spring kind weather so it is not so hot but still up in the mountains is more cool.

The hotel is in the heart of El Poblado, possibly one the safest and the trendiest neighbourhood of Medellin. The zone of full of bars, restaurants, clubs, and all sorts of night entertainment. The hotel itself is quite decent, but with no frills nor thrills. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and they also serve a simple and modest breakfast to get you started. In general, the hotel gives you a fairly good value for money if you want to stay in El Poblado on a budget.

Really good hostel in a brilliant location. Less than 10 minutes from the Poblado station and about 15 minutes to Parque Lleras. The hostel is secure and spotless. The room was very comfortable. There was even a hot shower which you don't always get in Colombia!
