The place is really nice and clean and located basically in the jungle. There is also a beautiful garden around. We especially liked the bathroom which is located outside and looks really authentic!

This is an exceptionally beautiful and tranquil property so close to the city and airport. Rooms are huge and have both an indoor and outdoor shower, the latter being a real treat for those aren't lucky enough to have one at home. The owner lives on site and is very attentive to guests and the staff are super nice and very efficient. I loved that the owner was willing to let me park my truck here for a few days at a very reasonable fee. This is an option that greatly facilitates travel for those flying to and from SJO. I could be confident my vehicle was completely safe and could easily grab an uber back and forth to the airport (or anywhere in the city for that matter).

Highly recommend this gorgeous ranch 40 mins from San Jose, up in the mountains. It’s in a beautiful setting and has everything you need, it’s calming and peaceful. The proprietor and his family looked after us so well, he is an amazing chef so definitely have dinner here, it’s delicious. We took a horse trek which was fun down a route through the trees to a river with an old bridge and stunning views. The best place we have stayed during our trip to Costa Rica, it’s so comfortable, feels like home and all their pets add to the experience.

Really a boutique hotel, very nice athmosphere, clean and cozy, staff is very nice. I would recommend to stay if you visit San José. We missed the breakfast because of the early flight, but I am sure it would have been amazing, too.
