The property is very well located in between rivers. The rooms are fantastic with comparable beds and an incredible outside shower. The pool and the garden is very lovely. The owner is Dutch an extremely helpful.

"Escondida" (hidden) is really not exaggerated. The Airbnb is really an oasis is an otherwise rather ordinary and rather busy city what Alajuela is. But within the Hacienda, it's all peace and quiet, with a wonderful view on a rather large garden an a swimming pool with the perfect temperature. The rooms are impeccably clean and spacy. But what interested me at least equally was the fact that I discovered actually flies of the fly family I am specialized in, which was a great surprise. Hence the score 10/10 for our residence.

Excellent location, just about 15 minutes from the airport. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great advice on everything we asked. Our room was very spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. We especially loved the terrace and the delicious breakfast served directly to our room, which we enjoyed with a lovely view of the jungle. Overall, everything was perfect, room was very clean and we would definitely recommend this place!

I loved the fact that’s it’s a resort but it’s in the nature and not crowded, like a boutique resort. Wonderful room, amazing view, nice environment and atmosphere. Good breakfast with a view. You can hike to waterfalls from the hotel, inside the resort ! And there is a little farm with animals, my child loved it. Not far away from the airport so that’s very convenient when we arrive/depart from San Jose and there are plenty of things to do around, including visiting the volcan Poas.

The place is clean, and very cozy it really feels like home. The host was amazing, always friendly and attentive. The location is very central, so everything is close by, and the airport shuttle service was a huge plus, super convenient. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again without a doubt.

Very good location, close to SJO Airport, free and frequent shuttle to/from the airport, good airconditioned, quiet room, perfect for a good night sleep after a longhaul flight. Breakfast was really good, the gallo pinto and fried plantains were exceptional. Breakfast was available from early morning. Close to walmart and atm (as the one inside the airport didn't work).

I chose this hotel again before and after my flight to San Jose. The staff is really helpful and the free airport transfer is convenient. It's a big improvement that breakfast was available already at 5:45 - it was very good to grab something to eat before our long trip.
