Everything! Agnes and Pierre are fantastic hosts who cannot do enough for you, and who are warm and friendly without being overly intrusive. Pierre is an amazing baker who filled us with the most delicious fresh bread and pastries each morning whilst Agnes is so lovely and helpful - she even offered to do washing for us. The rooms are really comfortable and well appointed - great showers and the best hotel bed we have ever encountered in all our years of travelling! A two minute walk from a couple of great restaurants.

Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. Hands down one of the best places we stayed at in Costa Rica! This place is a true oasis off the beaten path. It’s got a chill vibe in a beautiful inviting setting and is really magical at night with the lighting …simply beautifully designed!! You’re surrounded by a tropical environment with birds, squirrels, cashew trees and falling mangos that are a delicious bonus!! The owners are laid back, very welcoming and friendly - willing to help with anything you need. You feel like you’re staying with friends! The restaurant onsite is great and makes it easy to just relax and enjoy the pool area with cocktails and food. Almost makes you want to skip sight seeing in the area! However, the location does make it easy to go out - it’s walking distance to the beach and many bars & restaurants if you want to step out of the beautiful property. If you’re lucky you’ll also get the opportunity to spot some howler monkeys across the road - the made a visit on our last day which was really cool!
