There's every animals you can imagine in the country (even rare birds and the 3 types of monkeys next to the pool) Relaxing and beautiful gardens with majestic trees. The pools are amazing. We had dinner at the new restaurant and it was behind our expectation.

The gardens, the hot and cold pools, and the thermal waters are just BEAUTIFUL. Love that you can stay in the pools til 10pm, it's so atmospheric sitting in them at night, with subtle lighting and the sounds of the night forest and gentle music around. Beautiful, large rooms, fantastic bathroom and ample space for hanging clothes. Lots of towels too. Totally recommend this wonderful place.

This place was absolutely amazing. All the staff were so lovely. The view was great, there were so many amazing animals around, and breakfast was so tasty.

Our stay at the Amazilia Guesthouse came close to perfection. The staff was friendly, the accomodation perfectly clean, with a working A/C and ample space to put your things. But it was the little things which really stood out in comparison to other accomodations in Costa Rica: the good toilet paper, as opposed to the one where you can see through. A hot shower with sufficient water pressure. A non-leaking shower cabin. Good light and a good mirror in the bathroom. A well-working and clean dustbin, where you don´t have to worry about your personal safety when putting the used toilet paper in. We even got a packed breakfast as we had to leave early on our last day. The location requires a car and is quite remote, but perfect if you plan accordingly and want to visit the (equally remote) Rincon de la Vieja National Park. All in all, highly recommended!
