We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place is lovely, with a breathtaking view that’s especially magical at sunrise when the trees come alive with toucans. Our cabin was quiet, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Dinner at the soda was delicious, with great food at a very affordable price. The owner truly made our experience even better – such a friendly and kind person! We were even treated to coffee and a pastry in the morning, which was a delightful touch. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful and welcoming retreat!

We felt so very welcomed by the super friendly owner Eliana and her house is cozy, beautiful and unique. Situated at the River Sierpe and in a lush garden we were surrounded by the stunning nature. We went on an early morning boat trip for three hours organized by Eliana and saw lots of different birds, some crocodiles, some caymans and two species of monkeys (capuchin and squirrel monkeys). After the boat trip Eliana indulged us with a delicious breakfast. We would have loved to stay longer... Thank you so much! ♡

Hotel Margarita is a great place to stay while in Sierpe. The room is big, bed is big and very comfortable. The shower is enormous (the biggest I've ever seen), water is hot and everything is super clean. You can use a large kitchen with all necessary amenities. But what is the most important, the people who work there are extraordinarily nice and helpful. My fiancee got dengue during our stay in Costa Rica and the owner called the pharmacy and gave me all the instruction that I needed. I can recommend this place 100%

after our first night in san José we wanted to find some peace and quiet and wow, this was perfect! wade (the owner) is very friendly and will help you with anything you ask. it was the perfect start to our vacation in Costa rica and I would recommend everyone to stay here!

The property was absolutely beautiful, the sunrises make it worthwhile on their own. Great for birdwatching and just winding down. The staff are incredibly friendly and do their best to help whenever asked. We stayed there at the end of our trip and wanted the chance to relax and just enjoy our surroundings and it delivered perfectly

Perfect spot to overnight on the way to Drake and also to explore Sierpe and surroundings. The staff were really kind and helpful. I arrived super late by bus from San Jose and they went to pick me up in Palmar Norte under the rain and brought me to the accommodation. It was a life saver as I was carrying lots of luggage and finding a taxi under the rain at 10pm was not in my plans. The room is simple but very comfortable with everything that you need, and you wake up to the views of the Sierpe river at your doorstep.
