This is a workimg cacao and vanilla farm using green methods. We took the tour and they pitched it at a high level because we want to use their ideas in Papua new Guinea. Fantastic experience. Romantic. Garden of Eden. While Sand beach nearby deserted tropical paradise but with store nearby for drinks. Lots of birds, monekeys, fruit, plants - wonderful.

Filip and his family have carved this wildlife reserve out of nothing. Hear his story and be in awe. He deserves every possible accolade for his tremendous commitment to our natural world. The trails he’s sculpted out of the raw jungle that you can explore will give you everything you crave as a lover of nature if you give them time. Wake to macaws cackling, parrots screeching, howler monkeys calling. Yes the accommodation is basic but this is someone who has created something very special. This is a true gem. One of the last of its kind. A beautiful, affordable, tropical mountain retreat in the rainforest with more trails than we could hike in the extent of our stay. The owners were amazingly accommodating and great at communication. The communal cooking facilities were excellent.

Nice artfully built bungalows secluded in the jungle, lots of birds ,monkeys and wildlife, nice hiking trails. Good food and breakfast. Been here before, one of our favorite stops.

Great prices, breakfast, dinner, and company. The host's good intentions, attention to detail, plus efforts to accommodate and comfort guests were exceptional, i.e. providing maps, bikes and detailed instructions for getting around and shopping. Also, Osa is near a beautiful beach, a walk or bike ride away where visitors can swim and relax. A pleasant restaurant with good prices is nearby the beach. A chocolate factory is also a bike ride away. The host led us to a unique treehouse in a jungle setting rife with birds and monkeys. Internet access, too.

Our private villa with pool (villa #4) was so beautiful, comfortable and had the best wildlife viewing area. Your entire back patio, balcony and pool is surrounded by tall jungle trees and plants. The sounds of macaws squawking, other bird species and squirrel monkeys chirping was the highlight. The white-faced capuchin monkeys visited us at sunrise and sunset on the first day. A big Coati also roams around the garden of the property. We saw Toucans and Scarlet Macaws from our balcony. For us, it was heaven. The common area of the resort is at the top of the hill with breathtaking views of Golfo Dulce, the bay which looks like a huge lake. The staff are extremely friendly. Thank you Richie, Diego and Kevin for amazing service. There is a beautiful pool with a view, the restaurant, a lookout tower over the canopy and more. Squirrel monkeys come around where you eat breakfast. We will definitely return to stay at these villas again, we live in Panamá nearby, so this might become our new escape! The villa has parking, wifi, a kitchen, the pool and the bedrooms upstairs with a/c. You really can't go wrong staying here. It's also a fantastic price! It was absolutely wonderful, I miss it already! ¡Gracias!
