Our stay was perfect here! The hosts were so friendly, great with communication and helpful! This place is the perfect get away from all the touristy areas! It’s only about a 30 mins drive from La Fortuna, which we did not mind. We enjoyed eating at all the different sodas in the nearby towns on the way to La Fortuna instead of in town! It was cozy, and we enjoyed reading outside in the evenings. You hear so much wildlife and it is very relaxing! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

The location is fantastic in town . Off busy street but close to center. The free buffet breakfast was great and although the same every day it offered many choices. Room was comfortable & clean. Great hot water pressure in shower.There is a roof top viewing area where you get a great view of Arenal Volcano. Great helpful friendly staff! It was an added bonus to get into Volcano Hot Springs! It’s a 15min drive from town.

We loved our stay at BAUMA, can’t recommend it enough and would happily have stayed longer! The location was great, (across the road from North Fields Coffee and Chocolate tour which is well worth doing) and only took a few minutes by car to all the La Fortuna local restaurants. We stayed in Villa 1 as a family of 3. We loved the privacy of the villa, it was spotlessly clean, the bed linen and beds were super comfy, a well equipped kitchen (not that we cooked). The lounge area was great to relax in, we connected the tv to our Netflix account. The pool was rather refreshing but lovely to relax by after a day exploring the area! Being able to do laundry was an added bonus! Housekeeping came in daily and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you.
