The Hacienda is in a magical place - one can feel the positive energy there already when entering the estate. It is tastefully designed, spacious rooms. Excellent views towards the mountains. Home made meals. Beautiful garden - the best chance to spot hummingbirds. We visited the vanilla farm with the owner. We also did some of the hikes in the property - pristine nature , waterfalls , no other tourists. We loved it all!

What stood out the most is the friendliness of the staff. The hotel operations manager is a GEM. The villa had a really cozy style, and was very spacious. The hotel is right on the beach, and we made the most of it. There was never more than 10 people around, for kilometers. Absolutely dreamy. The hotel pool is so warm, you could spend hours in there. Highly recommend the ceviche at the hotel restaurant, it was by far the best ceviches we had in Costa Rica! There are no nearby restaurants or bars, but honestly didn't bother given that we found really tasty and decently priced options at the hotel. We'd absolutely go back here for a few relaxed days.

Stunning resort! Great pool, beautiful rooms and lush gardens, wonderful food. After we just arrived we went for a walk on the beach and found a nest of turtles hatching (daytime and off season). The most amazing experience, better than any tour we did in CR!

Loved the location of the hotel - it's right on Esterillos Beach, with some amazing sunsets. The pool is nice (a little small, but nice). Gym has great views of the ocean. The rooms have this classic hacienda style, with a really comfortable mattress. Staff were super friendly at reception. The restaurant is outdoors with views of Esterillos beach.

The farm property has beautiful trails to walk in the jungle. The owner is very kind and you can see that his animals are well kept and loved. Breakfast was simple but very good and we would have loved to stay longer!
