We had a lovely stay—thank you so much to Melissa and to Claudia from the restaurant next door for all your help! The apartment was clean, secure, quiet, and very close to the airport, which was super convenient. We ended up needing to stay an extra night, and Claudia kindly made sure everything was sorted for us. Check-in and check-out were smooth and self-service, which made things really easy. We left the apartment just as we found it. Thank you again for a great stay in San José!

We would go here again! We had a super relaxing time! The Finca is rustic, but so peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out on the front porch enjoying the magnificent views and local breakfasts in the morning

Authentic costarican hotel. Beautiful pool with loungers, beautiful flowers and amazing cacti, view of the mountains. Comfy clean rooms, nice bathroom, no air but high ceiling with a ceiling fan we were comfortable in february. Hostess was welcoming and accommodating, great breakfast outside. We had a short walk to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Shuttle to airport not included but the hotel arranged it for us.

This is an exceptionally beautiful and tranquil property so close to the city and airport. Rooms are huge and have both an indoor and outdoor shower, the latter being a real treat for those aren't lucky enough to have one at home. The owner lives on site and is very attentive to guests and the staff are super nice and very efficient. I loved that the owner was willing to let me park my truck here for a few days at a very reasonable fee. This is an option that greatly facilitates travel for those flying to and from SJO. I could be confident my vehicle was completely safe and could easily grab an uber back and forth to the airport (or anywhere in the city for that matter).

Hotel Pibi Boreal is ideal for short stays if you don’t want to travel immediately after landing in Costa Rica. We were warmly welcomed by the host, who picked us up directly from the airport and drove us to the hotel. Upon arrival, we arranged breakfast for the following morning, which we enjoyed on the balcony of our room—a lovely, relaxing start to the day. Everything was spotless, and we even took a peaceful walk around the beautiful property. Absolutely glorious—highly recommended!

Fantastic service, very clean, charming place with personality which makes you feel like you are in Costa Rica. A few hundred meters to a small center with a small supermarket and a handful of restaurants; we had Mexican which was nice. Solid breakfast included with fresh fruit, special made omelets, etc Our kid had birthday and the staff was so nice they had made a cake 🎂 which was a compliment from the house.
