Very kind and helpful staff. Clean and spacious room. Tasty breakfast with plenty of gluten free options. Great location in city centre. Hotel parking available {but has limited amount of space and can be already booked out - I recommend to check with the hotel in advance). Parking machine on street accepts euro coins and cards (parking is paid during workweek) however at night it can be challenging to find free parking space on the square in front of the hotel.

Extremely comfortable and quiet room. Excellent location, just outside Decin and an easy walk into the town. Very friendly and obliging staff. Superb food (breakfast and dinner) and a very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel had a delightful, spacious and partly tree-covered patio ideal at any time of day. The pool and spa facilities were luxurious and much appreciated. The masseur was excellent. The hotel was very professionally run and the cleanliness of both public and private spaces beyond reproach. The car park was more than big enough for the number of guests in mid August. The hotel is also ideally suited to hill walking and excursions further afield ('Czech Switzerland', etc.). It is located on the outskirts of Decin, a historical city with a fine hilltop castle commanding wonderful views across the river towards the imposing hills.

I really like the hotel, staff and food. The hotel room was nice, clean and comfortable and quiet. The dinner and breakfast was really tasty and personal.staff was very kind and helpful. I would appreciate a better orientation system in hotel and also some more cosy chair in the room.

We wanted to explore Bohemian/Saxonian Switzerland (Elbsandsteingebirge). Originally we intended to stay at Bad Schandau but found Hotel Devitka in only 13 km distance, close to the border. While there is a lot going on directly at the Elbe/Labe, Janov lies extremely calm on a plateau where you can see for miles and really relax. It’s a great place to explore the area, if you get there by car or are prepared to climb for 3 km by bike at the end of your ride. Hotel Devitka belongs to the golf course „Golf Janov“, so it‘s really at the end of the small village. The rooms are quite new, spacious and well equipped. There is a nice breakfast buffet and it’s possible to have dinner, basically Czech cuisine with little daily changes. Since the hotel is run by a small but very friendly staff there is little service possible during the day - dinner time starts at 6 pm. We enjoyed the food, beer and selection of wine very much. We stayed for 5 nights and would return any time.
