I liked the hotel overall and its location, a 5-10 minute walk from the center. The hotel's common areas are beautiful and comfortable, and they offer drinks such as coffee and water. The breakfast is varied and there are options for all tastes. The room is spacious, as is the bathroom, and the bed is large and comfortable. The efficiency of the hotel staff and their kindness and friendliness, especially that of Mrs. Carla Gomes Duque, made me always feel welcome and supported in whatever I needed.

Such a nice hotel; about 400 metres from the train station and equal distance to the town centre and castle. Staff are very friendly; facilities nicely set up and comfy. Room spotlessly clean. The pool also looked amazing: we just ran out of time so never used it. The breakfast was much more than we expected and nice and fresh with lots a buffet variety.

Very comfortable rooms, great showers, strong WiFi, very nice facilities, excellent restaurant and really good breakfast. Staff in all areas were super friendly and efficient. Parking was easy and always available. We were there with a group and booked 6 rooms. Everyone was very happy with Hotel Nikisch.

Fantastic place, really helpful staff and just ideal as a stop over as it’s close to the motorway. We arrived a little late but the restaurant stayed open for us and they could not have been more helpful. Really quiet, despite the odd train shuffling gently past. Superb breakfast also.
