This is such a great hotel! Old fashioned which I usually avoid but going by the reviews and the price I decided to give it a go. The staff are friendly, especially Sabine/Sabina (not sure which it was) who helped us with some luggage up to the second floor. She speaks pretty good English which helped as we are not German speakers and what she didn't know we were able to understand. Room was clean and comfortable with amazing views of the forest, sitting out on the balcony with a drink and birdsong all around was fantastic. Shower quite tiny and sink is in bedroom. We had a meal out on the terrace and the breakfast was good. I loved it but if you don't enjoy driving on slightly mountainous roads or being high up on a balcony then maybe don't book it (as my husband would unfortunately say..)

Great location , near hiking trails. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed—and even more. It’s very convenient that there’s a key box and the possibility to arrive late. Even if you arrive late,don't need worry where to have breakfast, you’ll find everything for breakfast—coffee, bread, cheese, jam. We were pleasantly surprised by the provided slippers, and in the bathroom—toothpaste and toothbrushes. The bed was very comfortable. One small minus is that it's on the ground floor and you can hear some noise from the street, but since we stayed on the weekend, the traffic wasn’t too heavy and it didn’t disturb our sleep.
