The property is pretty and quite new. One of the owners was nice enough to welcome us from the parking lot. They don’t have a lot of rooms, but each room is big and newly renovated so it’s perfect for people who don’t like crowds. The room was quite comfortable although I do wonder how it would be in summer because I didn’t notice air conditioning - our room had sound proof windows but when the window was opened, it got pretty loud. We could hear everything happening on the road. If you’re visiting Schloss Wackerbarth - this is the hotel that brings you the closest to the winery so you actually get crazy drunk and not have to worry about crawling back to your room cause it’s pretty close.

The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful when needed. The carpark spaces are located at the back of the hotel and a few more at the front by the road. I was able to find a space for my car when I arrived. The hotel is clean and I liked the interior. There are some communal spaces if you want to relax elsewhere other than your room. The room was spacious with a good bathroom, a shower with great pressure and a TV with plenty of channels. This was a stop over for me so I found it very convenient not to have to drive into a city centre but still being within a 15 minute tram ride from the old town. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Very quiet on my floor with the occasional neighbour closing their doors but I didn't mind that as you expect it. The breakfast had plenty of choice and it's a nice big room with a 6.30am opening which is great for early risers. I would stay here again.

I wasn't able to use my booking as the cash register was closing at 22:00 (I've arrived at 23:00) and said I have to pay by cash: card, paying in booking app,paying morning with card and leaving valuable as guarantee was not allowed. I was simply told to walk away and that I will not be able to use my booking and they don't care where will I sleep. Could not imagine such situation would happen in Germany in a chain hotel.

It was clean and simple. We visites family in Dresden and with a 25 mins drive and cheaper than the coty hotels it worked. Plus the Ionity Electric chargers worked well. 25% off breakfast and other meals. Staff were friendly.

Stayed a few times now on my way through to Poland. Great location, and the hotel is perfect if you want a quiet place to stay, but with great facilities and local eateries. I'm looking forward to stopping over again soon.
