Professional people. Bahariya is worthy to visit, and specifically Safari Camp is one of the best experiences I have had in Egypt. The guides and all the staff were so nice, but the most important thing: PROFESSIONAL. They had everything ready and everything was clear: no long delays, no extra charges, no scam by anyone there, but a family. I enjoyed a lot spending Christmas with them and all my group, but again, it is not just about an experience with nice people, but an experience being managed by PROFESSIONAL and RELIABLE people.

Falling asleep to the sound of chirping crickets is a priceless experience after the aural onslaught that is urban Egypt. Half of the thatch huts have been replaced with lovely brick domed en suite rooms. I stayed in both and while the brick rooms have ensuite plumbing, there was a certain nostalgic charm and quiet in the thatch hut. I was there in winter and the thatch hut was comfortable inside, and the thick bedding ensured a warm and comfortable sleep. Meals were simple and tasty. I was surprised to be served fish so deep in the desert, delicious fish and chips in fact! Thank you Badry and sons, I look forward to my next visit.

The staff is very polite and instantly made us feel at home. They served us hearty meals and treated us like family. The location is wonderful, but please be aware that it is about 4-5 hours drive from Cairo. I recommend booking the transfer with Tzila directly. Kim is very responsive and helpful with recommendations. Thanks to her, we booked the tour of the desert with a dinner. Our expert driver set-up camp and prepared our meal while we stargazed. One of the most amazing experiences. Highly recommend the day tour of the desert.

Mohamed is happy to receive guests and it show. He is ready to help and ensure all is fine. He speaks English perfectly. We went for a sunset view trip then a night hotsprings visit. All along great fun talking with him. His diner cooking was delicious.
