I consider myself a relatively picky person, so when I say that this was easily one of the best resort experiences I've had, I think that really says a lot. This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort, and the staff were incredibly polite, professional, and thoughtful. The room was very spacious, cleaned daily, and our room cleaner always left cute little designs on the beds which I thought added a thoughtful touch. Also the beds were suuuuper comfortable, especially the pillows which says a lot because I'm someone who never uses pillows because I can never find any that are comfy for me and the way that I sleep. I think they also offered like a pillow menu so they could bring you one that best worked for you. There were a variety of food options (I think honestly the Beach Bar restaurant had the best lunch, we went there literally every single day. We also may have developed an addiction to the spicy margaritas lol). The resort itself is very well maintained and absolutely beautiful. There are a series of other resorts next to Alaya and I really felt like we made the best decision in picking this one. It's also easy walking to both the coral and the regular beach. They had events every afternoon and evening so there was always a little something to do for everyone. Overall a great experience and I definitely will be going back!

Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff specially Adel in the restaurant & Mahmoud in the reception who gave us a fantastic introduction to the place facilities. Beach was clean with smooth & instant services. Room view was lovely!

Everything was amazing. Pools are very relaxing, with a good bar. There is also a big jacuzzi . Beach is unforgettable. Snorkeling starts with your first steps in the sea .. more than Wonderful coral reefs , colourful fish , turtles and sea cow . Also a sandy beach is there. Food variety is luxurious. In addition to the buffet restaurant, there is a perfect Chinese restaurant, sushi and Chinese food was amazing. All the stuff are more than friendly, they are exceptional , always caring for our happiness.

The staff are the best asset but the hotel is very nice and comfortable. I had booked a junior suite and got an upgrade, it was amazing. Everyone is so helpful and polite, the buffet is very rich with a wide variety of excellent fresh food for every taste. In short, I will most definitely be coming back!

Lovely quiet place to stay. Staff is wonderful and go out of the way to accomodate your needs. I arrived later in the afternoon and had forgotten to let them know that I am a vegetarian. So I had no great expectations for dinner. What a surprise then, when I sat down to a lovely The bed was so comfortable, i had a great nights sleep

Basically, this team excels in personalizing people's experiences. Everyone, everywhere, would remember who you are, what you like and how you like to have it. Front desk made me feel like I own this place, not just a guest staying therein. Food is excellent, quality and variety, especially the Alfredo restaurant (nothing else comes close to their Italian-cuisine experience). Room was spacious, stylishly fitted, and I was privileged with an astonishing view overlooking greenery, pool and the sea ... By far this was the best stay I had in the Red Sea this season, and I had many. Kudus to The Palace team 👏👏👏

The location - the bay - the snorkeling. The reception. The chief from the main restaurants (Hedyan - Tolba) The restaurant manager (Mr. Mohamed) All the staff. The beach and the pool. Highly recommend Aswan Mule Cocktail. Sameh, Ramadan, Ali, Karim, Osha, Amr, and Ahmed from the Anchor bar. Life guards and Mr. Mahmoud.

Beach area we were in wasn't the greatest,no swimming area ,...

Beach area we were in wasn't the greatest,no swimming area ,too shallow and rocky not sandy.Took quad ride out in desert was fun.Lots of fish to see on reefs,water very clean.marss Mubarak has resident dugong and turtles but didn't see the dugong on our visit.Overall nice place ,a bit on the windy side but nice relief from heat.

It was lovely to be for a while in an open space, sea, fresh air (during pandemic). Many hotels were closed and only few stayed opened. Yet they were still quite empty. Snorkeling was perfect, weather a but windy (normal In February), stuff in the hotel was happy and wearing masks and gloves. We went to Port Ghalib for a coffee but also most of the places were closed due to covid.
