The receptionist was also very bright and bubbly - explained the places to see in the town, where to go to get (opening times -essential!) and also informed of cafes were we could discounts if showed where we were staying. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Room overlooked very small courtyard plaza and while I could hear patrons at the cafe until late, it’s all part of the experience of staying in place overlooking a cafe courtyard. You also get bells peeling at Iglesias Santa Maria which is right in front of you. We arrived in the morning and room wasn’t ready. When we came back after lunch, our packs were in our room - nice touch. Wait until you have a shower 😉

The location was ideal in the center of Écija, there was street parking nearby. The layout of the apartment is a bit odd, but allows for quiet sleeping areas for everyone and a big living room with a comfy sofa. The kitchen was great with a new oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and cooker.

The hotel is just outside of Ecija, so suited my travel plans. It is on a main road but set well back and otherwise surrounded by countryside so was peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served from 7, and was very nice.
