We, my partner and I had just walked the 5 day camino to caravaca de la Cruz. She had problems with her feet which meant she was unable to walk far at the time. The owner, acknowledged that there had been a delay in breakfast and a few problems needed ironing out after only opening the hotel five days earlier… so imagine our surprise when he offered us a lift into caravaca and gave us a brief tour of his town. He did not have to do that. It shows good intentions and a good heart. We can’t thank him enough for that generous gesture. Give this hotel time to bed in and I think this will be an excellent place to stay.

The location was PERFECT. Everything was close by and there was a restaurant right below with very good food. The best part, was that the owners treated me like a guest in their house.

The receptionist Sara was fantastic. So helpful. Went out of her way to help when we were let down by the taxi company we booked. Also very helpful in recommending restaurants and places to visit.

Receptionist (Pippa) was brilliant! Even though she didn't speak English and we didn't speak much Spanish..... we were able to communicate via mobile app. The late receptionist (?) Was able to sort out a flooding shower quickly. Breakfast was good.

A recently renovated guest house set in Caravaca de la Cruz, La casa del huerto features a shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Newly renovated 1800's house with all the comforts of a new house. Room was clean with all the ammenities you would need. The hotel is located just steps away from the historical center. Staff was uper helpful and friendly. They gave us tips on what to do and where to go in Caravaca! Highly recommended.
