We visited to see the wildlife and it was a truly amazing experience, the vulture hide was something we'll never forget, the night hide, beach marten and gennet cat and fantastic bird life walking around the reserve. Accommodation is not luxury which we new before hand, but perfectly acceptable for a few nights, all the staff were really helpful and it felt like a bit of Africa in Spain.

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of inner courtyard, El Condado Casa Rural is located in Fuentes de Oñoro, 46 km from Guarda Train Station.

Lovely friendly welcome. Charming little house, charming interior and very comfortable. The bed linen was very pretty and crisp, good quality. Interesting furnishings - very homely. Beautifully tended garden. Nice BBQ area - great for families and dogs! Safely fenced garden and good parking right outside. Plus: don't miss the Talho (butcher) - large barn type building - just as you turn left on the road towards Casa Rural - excellent meat & great little grocery!

Superb location and lovely hotel with clean comfortable room  good air-conditioning, which made it a very pleasant stay. 

Hotel Arcos Catedral is located in central Ciudad Rodrigo, right next to the Cathedral and main square. Rooms feature free WiFi, heating and a flat-screen TV.

Quiet room comfy bed friendly people at reception. Cheap parking for motorbike and central location Good breakfast very clean. Location was fantastic inside the city walls.

Location was perfect as an overnight stop on route to Portugal . Would stay again as we have several times before .

It was good value for money and close to most areas we wanted to visit. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good which made it even better value for money.

This 14th-century ivy-covered castle has a dramatic setting overlooking the valley of the River Águeda and the amazing Campo Charro countryside.

The parador was up to their reputation. Everything was perfect. The staff, the facilities, the room, the location and the atmosphere. Loved it

Very near to the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral. Excellent room, very clean (the smell was amazing), modern, confortable, with such a friendly staff. I’ll come back for sure.
