wow where to start? amazing from start to finish. from a quick friendly efficient check in to the most amazing lodge. clean throughout. a little enclosed area at the front of each lodge with your own bbq and table and chairs. parking area outside each lodge. inside a microwave and a double hob perfectly sufficient. all the usual things such as cutlery etc all catered for. just a note though no washing up liquid or tea towels so you may want to pack those. comfy bed with a lovely thick quilt for a chilly night. heaters in the main area and bedrooms keep the lodge at a perfect temperature even though it dropped to minus 4 at night while we were there. the best part of this property though is the amazing staff! I am English and my partner is from Barcelona. the staff all speak Catalan as does my partner but wow it is proof that goodness does not need language to communicate. we had issues with our car starting and I had an infection that came on that I needed drugs for and the lovely Jose took my partner into town in his own car (because ours was dead) to the pharmacy. a life saver! the boss (sorry I don’t know his name) used his jump leads to get out vehicle started so we could drive back to Barcelona. The good nature and love shown by these wonderful people was a lesson in life. if you are English and you are looking for a genuinely Catalan experience then book a few nights here. don’t let the language put you off because kindness has no barriers.

The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our room had a comfortable bed and a bit of a view. Nearby are some bars and restaurants and town is a little stroll. Breakfast was fine, again, very woman running breakfast. We didn't have dinner there sadly, because it looked much nicer than the terrible pretend Japanese we had up the road. O yes, and it has parking onsite.

The room was warm (we went in the peak of the winter) and super comfortable, the beds were good and the bathroom is the perfect size. It's important to mention that the staff was always super helpful and kind and received us in the best way possible. a very good stopover on the way to Andorra, totally recommend.

Everything was first class. The apartment is cosy but spacious and comfortable. Great bed, TV, kitchen, WiFi... The excellent electric heating was good to have on this cold and rainy night in March. Very quiet location at the edge of a tiny village between Avià and Berga. Balcony with a nice view of the green landscape. Marisol is a charming and very helpful host. Booking.com's route description was fine but she still sent me a message with an even more precise instruction and photo - very appreciated. (I loved "turn right at the small chicken coop" 😊)
