The apartment is super nice, very well equipped, with everything you might need. It has a huge terrace with amazing views and a closed balcony (with lots of windows) where you can enjoy your meals. The host, Elena, is lovely, very helpful and very accommodating regarding check-in, luggage, etc. She also gave us all the info needed to enjoy our stay. In short, it was a great stay!

It’s a very quiet town.

It’s a very quiet town. None of the glitz of the more famous places which suited us very well. The beach is epic. There’s a volcano pretty near in the national park. We are at two of the restaurants. Very good fish platters and burgers available. We hired a car for exploring the island. Famara is so small you can easily walk round it. Surfing and boogie boarding available.

Wonderful little town sit in the past, no noises apart from the sea and the wind. Breataking cliff as a background, wonderful sand beach for spectacular walks! The town has dirt roads, it seems belonging to another time, enchanting, white, no advertisement as Manrique (the local artist of Lanzarote) worked with politicians to keep a visual decor (all hourses withe, two floors only, no advertisment). It was paradise for me! Just being there and admire the athmosphere!

Famara is a great location for surfers with high waves, clean beach and many surfing schools and renting facilities. There are maybe 5 restaurants in the town and 2-3 little shops, so if you like shopping and eating nicely or if you are vegan (like me ;) that might be not a right place for you. There is only one restaurant that offers plenty of (vegetarian and) vegan options. There is a lot of fresh and local sea food offered though for the great prices. I also enjoyed that it is a quiet place, no night music but only sound of the ocean.

Famara has one of the best beaches on Lanzarote.

Famara has one of the best beaches on Lanzarote. The town is lovely and laid back with a 'surfers vibe' with some nice, small bars and restaurants. The beach is wonderful as well. We think that it is worth hiring a car though!

I loved the views, the beach, and the village which had a...

I loved the views, the beach, and the village which had a nice mix of tourists and local residents. It was quiet at night, as most people were sporty (surfers, walkers cyclists etc) and there were no noisy drunken parties. It was probably one of the best places for me to stay. There were several good cafes and restaurants + 2 Supermarkets. I think I would come back in October ,when the weather is a bit warmer and not quite so windy

Nice appartment/small house for a group of up to 4 Persons. Excellent location for exploring the North-West part of Lanzarote. Calm and relaxed neighborhood. Fantastic beach for long walks and for surfing (excellent conditions) close by. 30 minutes walk to Caleta La Famara with nice restaurants and Cafes. Juan Manuel is a very sympathetic and friendly host and provides you with all information that you may require. I will certainly come back...

We loved it because it was non-touristic location, other than surfers which was in proximity to everything on the island. The bungalow itself is a 2 minute walk from the Famara beach which was a great thing for the whole family but especially for our 2 young daughters. Jose, the landlord, was very responsive to any questions we had.

Amazing location in the most beautiful village of Famara. We’d travelled to Lanzarote to spend a relaxing Christmas in the sun after a busy few months in Northern Europe and weren’t disappointed with the location or the facilities in the apartment.
