Beautiful apartment with everything you would need for a family, in a very peaceful setting. I am so glad I found this property as originally we were going to stay in San Sebastian. However this was much better for our dogs, and providing dog bowls was very thoughtful. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped and very clean. I couldn't find a kettle but we boiled water for our tea! Views from the balcony were stunning and watching and hearing the cows parade down the hill was a bonus. The access road is quite narrow, so we were a bit anxious driving up to the property, but fortunately the parking is more than adequate for a minivan, and once we had driven up the road a few times, it was fine! The host Inigo is very helpful, and quick to answer questions. This was especially useful as we couldn't get WiFi on the drive down, so couldn't access/download all the information when needed. However Inigo patiently sent it again. Thank you 😆!

Hostel Betelu is a gem in the Basque Country. Great location as it’s close to Pamplona (bull run), Tolosa, and San Sebastián. The hostel is exceptionally clean, the rooms are clean, quite and comfortable with a bathroom and shower in each room. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The bar/restaurant on the ground floor was excellent with great food ! I stayed here 4 nights for the running of the bulls. I’ve stayed here in the past and will be back again. It was also fun meeting some of the people in the village. I strongly recommend hostel betelu! Thanks for a great stay Hostel Betelu ❤️❤️❤️

What a gem of a place! The hotel looked very traditional and ordinary from the outside, but the bedroom was very modern, a good size with really comfortable beds and a lovely big en-suite shower room. There is a lift to the upper floors. We were welcomed warmly in Spanish as we don't speak Basque, and the lady (manager? owner?) only had a few words of English. We decided to eat at their restaurant, and were greeted by name by the chef/owner, and the waiter was excellent, very friendly and pacient, even though the restaurant was quite busy. A first for us: we could choose our own time for breakfast which was served in the bar. What a lovely experience in a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings.

The village was very pleasant and the people were very...

The village was very pleasant and the people were very friendly. We enjoyed coffee and pastries outside a patisserie and there were a few open as well as a bar in town. We felt safe walking around any most people said hello. 2 supermarkets well stocked and a petrol station on the way to the village.

I love the Basque culture, which is well promoted.

I love the Basque culture, which is well promoted. We just have to get Hotels and Bars to play only Basque music!! We ate at the Hotel which is very nice and value for your money. Staff were were very friendly.

A nice hotel on the Basque Country. We had a lovely evening meal which was reasonably priced. The Hotel was very well built and had a lot of nice characteristics.
