The hosts are wonderful and warm people. I did have practice my not-so-great spanish as Maria does not speak english (but her husband does). The location on the map looks great but it does take quite a bit of time from the highway to get there. Maria and her husband met us outside of their home and we followed them by car to the house. Watch out for opening hours in town as it is a small town and as usual in Spain, in the afternoon most places are closed until 4pm. The house has 4 spacious rooms, a large kitchen equipped with everything you need and a living room with patio doors leading out to a terrasse. The beach is 10 minute walk away, there is a seafood restaurant about 10 minutes walk away but it was closed for a holiday on the weekend we were there. I can't say enough about the hosts, they truly are wonderful people! We were given a homemade cake (which is delicous), eggs, jam and a few beers! For a coastal house at a great price, it is a good and decent option.

From the minute we drove up to the property we felt at home. We parked in a lovely covered parking space next to the house. Walking to the reception we were awed by how well kept the gardens were and anxious to relax in one of many sitting areas. We were very warmly welcomed by Anna - the heart of this home - who showed us to our room, or shall I say rooms! A small apartment like accomodation. Full with lovely little touches, beautiful linens and big windows letting all the light in. Manual - the backbone of this home - cooks for you upon request and he does this with a passsion. We had only booked 2 nights here but before the evening was through we booked more time in this lovely home. Anna was full of tips on where to go and what to see. The area has much to offer and is very different from what we have so far seen in Spain. Casa do Mudo shall forever remain in our hearts. It is truly special.

The stay in this magical place was the highlight of our trip. Manuel and Jimena were incredibly welcoming and helpful with absolutely everything during our stay. From the first moment that we arrived, the place was pure serenity, gorgeous views of the sea and landscape, and this peaceful quiet that almost automatically made you want to whisper. Everything in the bubble is thought through to the tiniest detail, and you can just sense the love and care put into the place. Our only regret is that we didn't come slightly earlier as would have loved longer in this amazing place. The bubble itself is equipped with anything that you may need including some card/board games, fridge/freezer, blankets, tea/coffee, etc.
