Incredible disappointment with this property. The host is a complete nightmare of a person. We only booked this for one night for a romantic anniversary, the hot tub was the only reason. When we first checked in the host told us there “may” be a “leak” but it should be “fine”….not fine at all! We had the hot tub on for 20 minutes and it leaked out of the bottom of the tub all over the room. We spent our romantic evening mopping up water. To make matters even worse, when I expressed my concerns to the host she accused us of breaking her hot tub!!! No apologies, no accountability. Do NOt stay here, it’s not even cute…very tacky decorations and smells bad.

A perfect spot to rest and enjoy the beautiful countryside of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Gardens, a pool walking trails, bar on site (espresso, cold drinks, nice to have close by) and lots of quiet areas to sit outside. Run by the lovely Victoria, who makes you feel at home.

This hotel is a gem. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a view of fruit trees in the garden and Sierra Nevada in the background. The breakfast was really nice, with a wide selection of foods and good coffee. The host is extremely friendly, he answered all our questions and recommended us things to see and good restaurants as well. I was interested in a book with local relevance, he recommended me a bookshop where I could buy it and even another interesting novel, I also bought. The room, the other spaces of the hotel, the perfectly maintained garden with its varied fruit trees are so beautiful that they literally heal your soul. I also think that Órgiva was a better place to stay for us than Lanjarón at this time of the year. Órgiva seemed quite lively with bookshops and other useful places open, while Lanjarón seemed to be a much smaller place with a lot of things closed. We stll could visit Lanjarón and even hike there a bit. I really recommend this place.

My partner and I got into a car accident on the way to the hotel and Francisco, the manager, truly went above and beyond to help us—he drove us back and forth from the hotel to the town multiple times, helped us contact the local authorities, coordinated with the tow truck, all while serving us a lovely dinner and maintaining exactly the sort of calm kindness that’s so invaluable in a crisis. Honestly, he made an experience that could have completely ruined our trip into just a minor blip. Thank you, Francisco.

The "Cafe Europa" serves an absolutely splendid 3-course...

The "Cafe Europa" serves an absolutely splendid 3-course lunch. Pampaneira is walked through in a couple of minutes and makes for some nice pictures, but this is the highlight for us, every time we get here. Other than that you can take a considerable 10km hike all the way up to Capileira and down the other side of the river. This can be shortended by making it down to the river from Bubion. We had a very pleasant hike, partly shadowed by trees. No water source on opposite side, so fill up in Capileira.

Stayed in this beautiful hotel for 2 nights. The room is so comfy with your own terrace. The bathroom is so big. The shower is super. The staff are super friendly and efficient, and the breakfast is so generous. 👌

Gorgeous, quiet, traditional house in Pampaneira. Well equipped, comfortable, the design of the house keeps the bedrooms cool. Amazing terrace with lovely views. Lidia (owner) was very helpful and responsive.
