When you go for a vacation in april you really don’t expect much, but we were amazed because almost everything around the apartment was working. You have the beach right under your feet. Actually, I think that this was the nicest beach we came upon on on the whole island. Appreciation for the receptionist being so kind to us. He seems a bit tired so he either parties hard or works too much :) We got a free upgrade to a bigger apartment which we are so thankful for because we are 4 college students who couldn’t afford anything expensive. Thank you so much for that! The staff in the restaurant right next to the reception was super nice and chatty and we love a good smile on people. They even gave us a bunch of salt and pepper for cooking so we don’t have to buy because we were only staying for 4 days. If i ever get the chance to go back to Ibiza, i am definitely staying in this place because it engraved a good core memory. I would kindly ask for anyone staying there to really appreciate the sunsets from the balcony because it seems like the colours are warmer than anywhere else. We loved it and hopefully we can experience it again!

Amazing hotel! Simply stunning. Sea view rooms are incredible! So close to the ocean. Honestly can not fault this hotel. The staff are fantastic and they go out of there way to look after you. The carry out all the little extra touches that makes a 5 star hotel 5 star. Concierge park your car for you. The breakfast by the ocean was so relaxing. We celebrated my 40th birthday and they left nice goodies in the room to surprise me. Was a special touch. We will return for sure! The area is very quiet so perfect for a relaxing long weekend and only a 30 - 40 minute drive to the airport.

We spent a very good time at Grouphotel. The place is amazing, one of the best place to stay in Ibiza for a quiet séjour. When we arrived We were very well received, and when we asked the receptionist for a service, he was very responsive. The staff is extremely kind and smiling, despite the end of the season! The view is magnificent and the beach is extraordinary... We would like to thank the receptionist once again for his kindness and professionalism! (Arrived on 2 septembre at 2 pm).

The location of this property is on the quieter side of the island on a beautiful beach, we stayed in the sea view rooms which had a fabulous view of the beach from the balcony. The pool areas were also great with 3 options, plenty of loungers and great service. We rented a car, therefore we got around easily to the many other beaches, restaurants and into the old town.

Portinatx was small enough to walk everywhere and not too...

Portinatx was small enough to walk everywhere and not too crowded. The beaches were groomed with beds and umbrellas and facilities close by. The water was clear and snorkelling good. There was a full range of bars and restaurants in walking distance from cheap and cheerful to pretty high end and impressive. We walked to 4 bays other than our own and snorkelled and swam and sunbathed. The town beaches are cleared of a fringe of seaweed every morning which is nice for easy entry into the water - some little bays don't do this so it accumulates a bit along the water's edge. Highly recommend water shoes as some of the rocks can be sharp but again plenty of people didn't wear them and got on fine. We ate at Rebrots which was worth seeking out, Los Enamorados with it's cool vibe and fab views, Resaurante El Puerto for the fish and our favourite for many reasons was Xiringuito Xuclar.

Portinatx if beautiful. The main attraction is the bay.. The beach is just brilliant for children. The sand is lovely and soft, plenty of sun beds ( although expensive €24 for 2 with and umbrella - Crete was €10 for better beds ) The water is nice and clear, brilliant place for snorkelling. Loads of fish to see ( Bream / Wrasse / Sting Ray / Octopus ).. The swimming are has life guards and a clear swimming area. Pedlos, paddle boards, Ribs. Plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Just beautiful.

The town is quite small but a number of lovely restaurants. It was a peaceful place to just chill out. We have been to other parts of the Island but this is definitely a place to just forget about everything. Having said that plenty to do with beach sports, or hiring boats or boat trips. We would visit again.

Portinatx looks as if it is a seaside village in transition.

Portinatx looks as if it is a seaside village in transition. In what was once a budget (in Ibiza terms!) family bucket and spade resort on the northern tip of Ibiza, the newer properties being built are more up-market. This means that the Portinatx of today boasts the island's most expensive hotel (the Six Senses), but also a Del Boy's Bar! The village is easy to get around (there's a really nice boardwalk/promenade), and there are several small supermarkets if you are self-catering. The sea was warm (in June), and was the most amazing colour - turquoise and azure stripes yet crystal clear when you went for a swim. The village has three beaches - the two in the village centre can get busy, so we preferred to walk another five minutes towards the lighthouse to find a quieter beach with a bit more space. All the beaches have bars and cafes around them, and all have sunbed/parasol rental available. There's a variety of restaurants to choose from - you can get pizza or burger and chips, but there are also several restaurants selling delicious tapas or Mediterranean fish dishes. We particularly enjoyed Rebrots and Niu for an evening meal. We really enjoyed our week, and think it would be interesting to return in a few years to no doubt see more changes.

Quiet town in the north of the island.

Quiet town in the north of the island. Pretty area with hills, lots of trees and small sandy coves. Good choice of bars and restaurants to suit all budgets. Nice beach. Disappointed that a couple of the larger hotels had very loud music and entertainment going on in the evenings which you could hear across the bay- this should be restricted to the ‘party’ end of the island!

I spent four days in Portinatx at the beginning of April,...

I spent four days in Portinatx at the beginning of April, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The views were breathtaking – picturesque coves, crystal-clear water, and beautiful natural surroundings created a truly magical atmosphere. One of the best things was how peaceful it was – there weren’t many people around, which made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. Portinatx at this time of year is ideal for anyone looking for tranquility and a break from the everyday rush. The weather was also perfect – warm but not too hot, which made it great for exploring and going on walks around the area. It’s definitely the best time to discover the beauty of Ibiza without the crowds and noise of high season. I highly recommend Portinatx to anyone dreaming of a quiet getaway in a stunning setting.

The apartment location is across the road from the beach and within walking distance of all restaurants in Portinatx. The complex was extremely clean. The apartment was cleaned every second day and new towel and sheets provided. There were laundry facilities which was a huge bonus.
