This place is something really special. I was worried when I booked it as it seemed far to good to be true for the cost of the house. It exceeded all our expectations. The views are incredible. The pool is a nice touch also, it was stated as private in the ad, this was private to the houses as a whole not just us, this did not bother us one bit however and if you are travelling with children this place is ideal as its all enclosed. I would recommend getting up to watch the sunrise from here it will take your breath away. The host was lovely, very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations of where to visit.

Around the town there are so many places to visit. We visited Cueva del Agua so picturesque and Cascada de Guazalamanco very nice and easy walk. Worth to eat at restaurant kilometer 5, excellent food and service. Thank you for your hospitality Mari and Jose.

In the tiny town of Pozo Alcón, this is the central hotel and bar. Comfy rooms, excellent beds and friendly service - both on the bar & hotel side. Breakfast a la carte. If you're looking for an good and authentically Spanish hotel, this is it. Excellent price/quality. The manager helped us park our motorbikes between the yellow lines, served us beer without alcohol after politely checking if we *really* wanted "Sinalcor" and made us delicious bocadillos to take out for lunch the next day.

We only stayed one night but wished we had booked for longer ! The staff were great and very helpful. The location of the hotel was peaceful with lovely gardens and surroundings . Prices of drinks and wine were very reasonable .The food was ok, nothing special but good value for the price we paid. Our room was large with its own lounge area and terrace . Loads of free car parking , some under cover . Nice places to sit outside ,has a swimming pool. There was a spa but we didn't use it.

Pozo Alcon is set in the heart of mountains filled with olive groves and almond orchards. The views of the beautiful landscape from El Helao are spectacular and this simple yet welcoming hideaway is perfect for hikers and those seeking to connect with nature and the rural adventures hidden amongst the country roads of Cazorla. The host, Noelia, was lovely and very attentive to our needs. The ample space within the cortijo makes it ideal for visitors with dogs. We can't wait to return!

Breakfast amazing, jamon exceptional quality. Lolli and Manuel were genuinely warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and having the facility to self cater was brilliant. Although Lolli’s evening meals were a taste of true Andalusisn cooking. Well located traditional hotel near a beautiful reservoir with plenty of nearby walking. Peaceful but just 4 km from Pozo with the excellent bar La Union.
