This stay was a little piece of heaven for us… we had a very long day walking the Camino and we were a little worried if this would be worth the extra km of walking. We were a little late getting there but were met by the owner and felt instantly at home and comfortable. The hotel made us feel like the royalty that used to live there! We enjoyed hot showers and the comfortable rooms and beds. I can imagine in the busy season the outdoor bar overlooking the apple trees would have been the place to unwind. The breakfast was wonderful and it provided us with renewed energy and fuel to continue our Camino. We were grateful for our gracious Irish host Carol ,who spoke English and offered advice for the next days of walking.

The location is peaceful and quiet. The building itself was very thought out in all the little details. Room was charming and bed very comfortable with windows that open to hear the river. You can also access the river which special. Great breakfast experience for 6 Euros (Baked items, whole fruits, hard boiled eggs, toast among other options). Coffee, tea, orange juice all enjoyed with the beautiful view of the river below. The owner was helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend and we hope to return. Great spot to base for several days to disconnect. Bike the senda del oso and enjoy the village life in the mountains.
