The breakfast was good value for money at 7 euros.The hotel is very well placed in the town and has excellent parking. Several touches for comfort were in the room and ours had a lovely large terrace for sunbathing. There is also a sister hotel a short walk away where they serve excellent food at very reasonable prices. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is run with a great deal of care. We would certainly return. Llanes is a great little town too.

We stayed here in April with friends while walking the Camino del Norte. The rooms are new (or newly refinished), clean, and nicely furnished. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. We ate a simple, tasty dinner and good breakfast as well at Rincon de Yaxu. Highly recommend!

Came here with low expectations as we were travelling on a tight budget, but it quickly became my favourite hotel ever. The owner is incredibly friendly, the rooms are decorated quirky and personally, and not to mention the view!!!! Every morning we sat at the foot of the mountains as the owner cooked us HUGE and absolutely delicious breakfasts tailored to our preferences and needs (including vegetarian meals which is quite difficult in Spain!). The meals were big enough to fill us up for the whole day and included a small buffet including coffee, muffins, yogurts etc. The whole thing only cost €10. Unfortunately my partner was ill with sunstroke for the last couple of days of our holiday but the owner was so helpful in providing us rehydration drinks and medicine to help with the sickness, even when I messaged him late at night. I will definitely be coming back and I cannot wait until my next visit.
