Even better than the photos. Very friendly welcome from Tomas, who kindly left wine, chocolates and essentials. Lots of space and sitting areas. Pool table was great. Appreciated all the little touches to make it an extra special stay.

Our stay for a month was incredibly warm and welcoming. The host was exceptionally caring while also respecting our privacy, creating the perfect balance of hospitality. Living here, we truly understood what it means to stay in a "chocolate house"! A place that feels cozy, inviting, and special. Although it's a ground-floor apartment, it never felt dark—there was plenty of natural light, everything was clean, tidy, and beautifully maintained. The space is filled with thoughtful details that make it feel like home. The courtyard is a peaceful retreat, sheltered from the wind, offering a perfect spot to relax. Just a few steps away is the ocean, where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets every evening. The supermarket and town center are only 500 meters away, making everything easily accessible. A truly wonderful place that we would love to return to! Thank you so much!!! ❤️

Spacious villa, very responsive host, all clean and exactly as described. Secluded location away from touristic areas of the island - car is a must have - exactly what we looked for and expected from this place. It was also great that the swimming pool had the heating option - useful during the winter time.

Tinajo is in a good location for seeing the sights of...

Tinajo is in a good location for seeing the sights of Lanzarote. It feels like a proper Spanish village, in contrast to some of the resorts on the island. We ate in three different restaurants and had three lovely meals.

Surrounded by volcanic landscapes and close to Timanfaya National Park, it offers stunning views and a unique atmosphere. The locals are friendly, and the area is ideal for hiking, stargazing, and enjoying the natural beauty of Lanzarote. Just be prepared for early morning roosters — part of the rural charm!

Great location for exploring the island.

Great location for exploring the island. The apartment is probably better for a shorter stay (up to 5 days) only because the kitchen facilities are a little limited but we had a wonderful stay, beautiful views, great weather and sunny outside garden, a short drive to lots of attractions across the island, close to good restaurants but also peaceful place to read and relax in the winter sun at the apartment

Good location from which to reach all parts of the island. Has a selection of restaurants, bakeries/cafes, a small supermarket and excellent craft beer brewery with pub. Some odd or inconsistent opening times.

Tinajo is a quiet area surrounded by astonishing vulcanoes...

Tinajo is a quiet area surrounded by astonishing vulcanoes and trails. A must is the Crow's Vulcano and the Caldereta Blanca. Enjoy a volcanic wine testing at Bodega a Geria and a guided tour of the winery! Super worth it. We will stay in the area again next time we visit. Eating out was slightly more expensive than expected and seafood was often frozen, however we should have realised sooner that the island relies on import rather than self-sustaining agriculture!

Breakfast was not included but the welcome pack was good. The location is excellent for quick access to all parts of the island by car and Tinajo has restaurants, a small supermarket, bakeries and a great craft beer pub. The property was clean, spacious, and well equipped including furnishings and kitchen utensils and in an elevated position with good views of the west coast and the sea. The hosts are attentive and helpful and communications with them were excellent at all times.

Casa Abubilla is a very good apartment located in Tinajo, 25 min driving from Arrecife. Very clean, provided with food for breakfast and lunch. There’s the swimming pool and parking inside the property. The bed is comfy and facilities are good. The position is strategic, close to Timanfaya national park (10 minutes driving) Very good value for money. Thanks Julio for your present, it was an amazing stay!!!

Lovely small hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved the jacuzzi which was much appreciated after a long walk and the breakfast was just incredible - everything you could possibly want and an amazing view from the dining room. Beautiful, peaceful place to stay.

Casa candela is a cosy appartement in Tinajo a perfect position to visit Lanzarote. The host was very nice and ready to help. We asked for a hairdryer and we got it promptly. The house has all the essentials you need for a short stay. Fantastic view from the bedroom window.

A beautifully appointed, spacious property with superb views. Well-situated for exploring the island with the centre of Tinajo a couple of minutes away. Our charming host Monse gave us lots of tips, a welcome pack and some delicious homegrown dragon fruit.
