It was a great location on our long drive from UK to Portugal. It is just a short distance from the main road. Despite the close proximity you could not hear any road noise from the room. A very high standard of room that was very comfortable.

We loved everything about our stay! From the check-in to check-out. Absolutely adorable woman at reception, very friendly and helpful. Very nice clean room, cold floors (for the room t°), comfortable beds, clean and convenient bathroom. You can get good coffee and fresh delicious croissants for a breakfast (and more). Garage is a huge plus, especially in Spain as we have a very interesting experience of trying to find a good and safe parking spot in the evening. Also our dog was warmly welcomed and enjoyed her stay as much as we did:)

Perfect place to stay and see Tordesillas. Very easy to find using sat nav and parking right outside the door. 5 minute walk takes you into town. Supermarket across the road. Room was warm and quiet. Free WiFi was excellent. If reception is unmanned key box code is sent to your phone via text or WhatsApp. Very friendly welcome. I would definitely stay here again.

Tordesillas is a famous town in the world history!

Tordesillas is a famous town in the world history! At the end of the 15th century the pope and the kings of Spain and Portugal agreed here how to allocate the newly discovered territories in South America.. The museum is interesting, but the town has little to offer except for the nice views from the river side and the well preserved churches. Restaurant choices are limited..

Historic hillside town on River Duero crossing.

Historic hillside town on River Duero crossing. Fabulous little Santa Clara Convent with 15th Century Mudejar horseshoe patio & golden ceiling. "Mad" Queen Juana reclusive convent life 1509-55. Fascinating museum of Treaty of Tordesillas signed by Spain / Portugal dividing Latin America in 1494. Centre of Comunero revolt against Charles 1 monarchy in 1520. Today a sleepy town with cloistered square with good eateries and economic hotels. Surrounded by wine of Toro & villages with big castles.

Tirdesillas is a stunning place to visit with picturesque...

Tirdesillas is a stunning place to visit with picturesque scenery and medieval buildings but not in the winter. We were there because we were travelling home but temperatures in winter are well below zero and there is a good chance of snow. So visit in the spring and autumn when temperatures are not extreme hot and cold.

An interesting central plaza and interesting quirky history...

An interesting central plaza and interesting quirky history of The Mad Queen. We only ever stay for one night on route to and from Santander ferry port. A very convenient stopping place about two and a half hours drive away.

I assume this is a family run hotel it was clean comfortable...

I assume this is a family run hotel it was clean comfortable and what we needed after a long trip. Its not a 5 star establishment but then again we didn't pay 5 star price and wouldn't we like seeing spain as it is. The breakfast was absolutely excellent. There was a typical Spanish bar and it was good for a drink after a long trip and our dogs were welcome. We felt it was excellent value and clean and to us that is what we hoped for. The best recommendation I could give is would I go there again...definitely and we will.

Santa Clara convent , El convento de Santa Clara, Plaza mayor, paseo alreadedor del Duero,do not miss the old bridge,over the Duero river,Casa del tratado ,very picturesque village, people are very friendly here

Good quiet room with all the expected facilities. Breakfast was good, as was dinner. Hotel easily accessible by road with plenty of parking. Between 15 and 20 minutes walk into Tordesillas where there were a number of restaurants and bars.

The reception staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel was warm, clean, spacious and decorated to a high standard. The bed and pillows were amazing and the room was nice and warm 🙂

Centrally situated hotel which offers a basic breakfast as well. Opposite busstation. It gave me a safe storage of my bike as well. Close to the hotel there are some good restaurants.
