The host was phenomenal; very friendly and very accommodating. The room was bright and comfortable, and the host provided a tray with water, nuts, candy - a welcome and appreciated nicety after hiking. Really liked the view and the location. The restaurant recommended by the host was WONDERFUL! Would happily stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in super Casa Lixa - it really exceeded our expectations! The place is spotlessly clean and the staff Rosi and Sergio went out of their way to make us feel good! There is a great range of food to pick among and they also have lovely wine! The rooms were spacious and airy and we got the luck of having a room with a balcony overlooking the gorgeous and relaxing river! We really enjoyed our stay in las Herrerias and staying at this place is a must to have a good rest and continue the Camino! We highly recommend it- we went with bikes and there was a very secure cottage to leave the bikes. All in all a super stay and we would definitely come back! The property is amazing!…the garden area, the river, the indoor area. The host is incredible…the best!!! The food is wonderful…the communal dinner and breakfast are excellent!
