El Tinao was a very comfortable stay. Like a home from home. It is also in a perfect spot at the top of the village so you can enjoy the views from the restaurant and also have easy access to other places to eat and for taking little walks. My son and dog also felt especially welcome and didn't want to leave. Thank you Lorena!

A hidden gem with fantastic views. It was so tranquil. The staff were very pleasant and the accommodation very comfortable and very clean. The breakfasts were great, a lovely selection. I can recommend the hot stone massage, it was amazing and the spa very relaxing.

The place is absolutely beautiful, close to everything in the village, with amazing views and really nice shared facilities like the pool, terraces and kitchen. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, their Spanish is not great but enough to communicate, and non-Spanish speakers will be relieved to find native English speaking staff! The atmosphere is wonderful, we made great connections with the other guests and staff and the large amount of shared spaces encourage interacting with other people, which I think is the intention of the place. If you want to visit a welcoming place where you can meet great people and have fun, I would really recommend it. If you want a peaceful stay, you will always find an area where you can just relax and unwind.

Friendly, helpful hosts. Very safe for our 2 bicycles. Clean, Comfortable and everything we needed to prepare our own food. Beautiful location, 15 minute walk to the stunning Old Town and lots of local walks along the river side. We really enjoyed our very peaceful, restful stay here. Oh and clear starlit sky too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️🚴🚴

Yegen is a beautiful Alpujarra white village on the side of...

Yegen is a beautiful Alpujarra white village on the side of a large mountain. It has far reaching views and you can even see the sea on a clear day. There are almond farms all around and the blossom was beautiful in January. It feels rather like stepping back in time and is well worth a visit. Most places were shut while we were there as we arrived late on Sunday afternoon and left on Tuesday morning but I'm sure there are nice places to eat and drink at busier times. There are many footpaths in the area and it would be a great place to use as a base for hiking.
