We stayed at this place for 2 nights. I would rate this property with higher numbers if I could... ;-) It's an unbelievable accommodation. Everything was perfect - the rooms were very big, an appartment was very clean, kitchen was fully equipped, And the breakfast was just unbelievable. Such a big variety of food incl Sami food! Staff is so nice! Parking is for free. The location is just a few minutes walk from Tsahkal Falls

I think this hotel is slightly underrated. The passing of the time can be seen in some facilities, but our room was cozy despite being small, and very clean. Sauna was excellent, and the possibility for a swim in the lake was super. Breakfast was also excellent, and the staff very friendly. Location is very good next to the Kilpisjärvi services. I can recommend.

Had the most amazing stay at one of these cottages. So peaceful in the frozen landscape, and the fireplace and sauna were the perfect additions to enjoying a cozy cabin day! Was lucky enough to see the most amazing northern lights dancing over the cottage! And the hosts very kindly picked me up and dropped me off at bus station. My highlight of my time in Finland!

Hiking trails are well signposted.

Hiking trails are well signposted. The supermarket at the center is very good. Public transport connections could be better but the twice-daily bus to/from Rovaniemi is very reliable. Tour operators organize day tours to the Acrtic Sea in Norway. They sound good but unfortunately were cancelled in summer 2021 due to the covid crap.

The studio room was in nearly pristine condition and well furnished. The interior design had the right combination of personalty and convenience. Beds were cozy and the view great. I especially loved the sounds the small brook made when I was sitting out on the patio. The restaurant served a wonderful main course. I was pleased by the fact that the nature center was right next to the hotel and the trail over to Tsahkal lake was easy to find and follow. The receptionist was sunny and welcoming when I arrived.

Excellent location just 200 m walk to the Kilpisjärvi central shops yet still in a beautiful nature surrounding. Hiking routes start just 100 m away. Good price to quality ratio in an otherwise expensive Kilpisjärvi (this time of the year). Good for a family stay with plenty of sleeping places. Kitchen was well equipped, had coffee brewer and even some left over salt flour and coffee filters.

We loved Kilpisjarvi and our stay at Tundrea Resort. A beautiful place (and the only one), where we spotted the Northern lights on our trip! It was a memorable experience for us, probably one we will cherish for a long time. The staff was very accommodating, and we felt well taken care of. Thankyou Tundrea!
