The place it self is magical , and the chalet is super beautiful near to the lake , you can see the aurora lights from there , the sauna was amazing and authentic , and dont miss the dinner , super tasty. Our hosts were super welcoming and helpful , and always there when needed. I will certainly came back in spring.

Amazing hotel, the location is best to relax after the long trip. It is surrounded by a very small community, a super market and that's it. The hotel rooms are spacious, the bed is comfy, the bathroom is spacious, they have android tv which is cherry on top. You can make your own food or bbq if you want. I loved the location. We also got sauna for free at no additional cost.

My friend and I had a lovely stay! It was exactly what we were looking for- the property is in a beautiful, quiet location, and the cottage itself is very homey and cozy. We enjoyed relaxing, making food, spending time in the sauna, going for walks in the area, etc. Sauli and the staff are so helpful and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Would definitely stay at Rieskapaikka again!

It's like winter Wonderland. Just 20 minutes from Rovaniemi but you feel like U are in a very remote location.Sitting in a hot jacuzzi, looking over a frozen lake is like a dream. The house is compact but very well equipped. The kitchen is fully operating,full of utensils,spices,even coffee machine stocked with Starbucks coffee pods😁We found colouring pencils,toys,board games,sledge for outside for kids. Crocks for everyone,socks,head torches. Fire pit for marshmallows and sausages. We had very relaxing and pleasant stay🥂
