Lovely property a drive away from Ranua Zoo. This place is in the countryside, on a farm with dairy cows, and hosted by a really friendly family. The property is comfortable and spacious with all of the basics you will need (do go to the supermarket/shops before arriving as otherwise you have a long drive there and back). We slept very well, with no noise or disturbances (we were a family of 4, with 2 small kids). The sauna, overlooking the lake, is *really* something. Bring your swimclothes. Greetings to the hosts from Brussels!

We stayed at this traditional mökki in Ranua and absolutely loved it. The cottage was clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. The view over the Simojoki was simply amazing, the kind of peaceful scenery you can enjoy for hours. Our group of friends had a wonderful time here. The self check-in process was smooth and easy, and the location was straightforward to find. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went perfectly during our stay.

5 Stars service provided by Kimmo and his team. The house is amazing, we felt like were in home there. We opted to get a chef in the house, who prepared the most delicious Finnish food. Ranua is a nice spot for Northern Lights, we could see it from the house yard. Kimmo arranged all the attractions to us, which were amazing and unforgettable. Thank you Kimmo and all the team for the wonderful days in Finland.

Our stay in the cabin was dreamy for both adults and kids. Outside there was a frozen lake, they had sleds for all the children, and in the evenings we peacefully searched for the aurora. Nearby you can go on husky and reindeer rides, and there’s also a zoo in Ranua. We also lit a fire outside and roasted marshmallows with the kids. The host also arranged ice fishing for us.

The house was perfect. Very comfortable Living room, hot saune, spacious bedrooms...so much better than expected. We even had a Christmas tree :-) The location is close to Ranua (15 minutes by car) and Rovaniemi (1 hour).
