Right on the GR70 route. For a two star hotel this place is great. Good food and bar, quiet clean comfortable room, friendly staff. I cannot think of any reason not to stay here.

This is a beautiful tranquil haven to relax and unwind in. Immaculately appointed, spotlessly clean, and despite being a tiny house, has most things you need to have a very comfortable stay. The owner was very kind and helpful, but respected your privacy. If you are riding the "France en Velo" route, stay here. It's simply amazing!!

Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped apartment in the centre of Villefort. Good friendly pizzeria just up the road and a small Carrefort supermarket in the square. Within easy reach of the Villefort lake and walks on Mont Lozere...both spectacular in different ways.. An excellent base for this area of the Cévennes.

An amazing find. I was cycling the St Malo to Nice route (France en Velo) and Altier proved a perfect stop on the way. The owners and staff could not have been more friendly. My bike was safe and the room very generously proportioned. The food was amazing, sourcing local products while being great value. This was my favourite stop of the entire trip.

Beautifully situated boutique hotel accommodation above a restaurant. Meals are excellent and there was live entertainment the night we were there. Breakfast can be provided. Delightful staff. A really nice stay and not far from Villefort: highly recommended.
