An amazing, spotlessly clean property. The spa bath in the bedroom was very unusual but absolutely fantastic. We had been walking for 10 days and being able to soak and listen to music on the brilliant sound system was awesome. Everything in the place was designed to make the stay perfect.

Location was fabulous, close to many local attractions but also out of the way and secluded. The closest town, Bram, is lovely and there are good restaurants and stores nearby. Great, plentiful breakfast with croissants, fresh baked goods, bread, homemade jams, yogurt, and fruit. Nice, clean pool. It’s also nice to be right next to the Canal du Midi (walk, bike, or run in nature!). Staff are friendly and helpful and have great suggestions for local tourism.

We took the table d'hote option both nights and dinner was delicious. All freshly homecooked and tasty. The wine was reasonably priced. We had the dining room to ourselves so it felt very special. Breakfast was also delicious, homemade jams, yoghurt and local honey served with a selection of croissants, bread, cake and waffles over the 2 mornings. The location was good. The area is beautiful with some lovely walks around the Montagne Noir. Emilie and Douglas and family were very welcoming and friendly. We will stay there again and would definitely recommend.

This place is very special, situated in the lovely elevated village of Fanjeaux, it is a superbly designed suite of rooms with a stunning view for miles across the countryside as far as the Black Mountains. With its own private entrance, the first room in the suite is a spacious conservatory with cosy seats, beautiful plants, decor with books and even painting and sketching materials thoughtfully provided for guests. From here a door leads into very attractive mini-kitchen/dining room that looks out across the stunning view, with coffee-machine, fridge, microwave and little butler sink complete with a dresser filled with beautiful pottery and glassware. The next room with the same breathtaking view is the super comfortable bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The hosts have put so much care into making people welcome here and are very kind and responsive while giving guests perfect privacy in a peaceful space.
