The setting, rooms, building, and atmosphere were idyllic. Traditional medieval castle at it's best. Food and host could not have been better. The surrounding forests and lakes were beautiful. This property has been meticulously renovated back to it's original form. Excellent.

A charming and engaging host who enjoyed conversations on a number of interesting topics. The rural setting was perfect for a relaxing stay. We also enjoyed a walk from the property to a spot with clear view to enable me to do some night astro photography later in the evening.

Wonderful place, clean, very comfy, spacious. Despite the very short notice, the owner made all the needed arrangements so we could spend the peaceful night at this nice property and have so much needed rest before continuing our journey through France. Parking might be difficult as all streets are very narrow but it was not a very big issue. definitely recommend.

Very rural, calm and green surrounding. The historical building is very will maintained inside and outside. Also the cleanest place I have ever seen. I loved the sound of the flowing river and different lounge areas on the big property
