The place was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with everything needed for your stay. Lots of information on the surrounding area should you be staying longer. Very comfortable beds too. I have stayed in this hotel chain before. I like their hotels because they are cheap, clean and no-frills. This looks like a brand new one. It was very comfortable and though on quite a busy road was completely sound-proofed. I recommend. Sélestat town centre, which is really pretty, is easily accessible by car.

It is one of the smaller villages in the region, and one needs a car to go around. But, within 5-10 mins driving distance, other villages like Scherwiler and Dambach are easily accessible for restaurants and boutique and unique wineries. Very well connected with other villages with walking trails through the vineyards.!

This is a wonderfully picturesque town that is easy to walk around and is surrounded by vineyards. It's also within an hour's drive of cities with major attractions, like Strasbourg. Other nearby towns offer beautiful and delicious dining opportunities and photographic opportunities of nature and vernacular architecture.

Evrything was neat and clean. The staff was friendy. Not everyone speaks english but they still tried to help and gave us some good suggestions. If you want to dine in any restaurant it is better to reserve several days before. Chances are places will be fully booked.
