Ma Maison Fleurie is such a wonderful quiet little hideaway!! We were only there the night before our flight but I wish we could have stayed a week! The apartment is so clean and cosy, with beautiful dishes and great cooking implements, perfect if you like to do some of your own cooking during your stay. There is a section of the yard/garden for guests, and you can eat meals al fresco or sit and enjoy the views of the trees and distant mountains. The hosts are incredibly friendly and very responsive, and we had a delicious breakfast including jams homemade by Alzira! It's a great location to explore the countryside east of Lyon -- we spent the day at Cremieu and loved it. Highly recommended, and I hope we have the opportunity to go back!

This was a great area close to the airport!

This was a great area close to the airport! We were only there for a day but we enjoyed a medieval village (Cremieu) and some hiking in the woods near some horse farms. I'm sure we would have found more to do if we had more time plus Lyon is right there.

The hosts were very attentive and booked us a table at a local restaurant, driving us there and picking us up. Breakfast included lovely home-made jam. Both rooms were very comfortable. The hosts did not speak any English so my schoolboy French got an outing!
