Beautiful rural setting in own substantial grounds with impressive tree-lined entrance drive! Charming lovingly restored characterful small chateau. Isabelle and Christophe were very welcoming and congenial hosts. Our room was elegantly furnished with a terrific view and we had use of the sitting room, TV room and outdoor seating. We were treated to a personal tour of the grounds, vegetable gardens, orchards and animals. Breakfast was amazing with home made jams, honey from hives in the grounds, yoghurt and freshly made apple cake.

This is a typical small French town.

This is a typical small French town. We went for a walk in the afternoon and discovered a lake with a beach, just a five minute walk from the hotel! We only stayed for one night as we were travelling further west but would definitely make a stop here on our next visit. The town is clean and quiet and although we didn't see many people, those we met were friendly. For an overnight stay, it was perfect.

Staff were great.

Staff were great. Breakfast really good with plenty of options. The room was clean and comfortable. Plus we enjoyed an excellent evening meal served by lovely staff. If in the area will definitely satay again.

Everything about our overnight stay here was lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a fan in each room to help with the heat. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was delicious, made even better by eating out on the terrace. Parking on site. We aren't very good French speakers (although we try where we can) but everyone was very helpful and their English was such that communication was very each. All round, I'd highly recommend staying here.

The location is fine, about 10 miles from Alencon. The bed was comfortable although there was scant cover for a cold night. The lady on duty in the breakfast room was very pleasant and helpful. There is ample parking at the rear of the hotel, with access through a gate to the left hand side. The breakfast was adequate, if a little uninspiring for the amount charged.

The hotel is situated in the heart of a lovely market town. There is a park next to it - great for walking the dog. There is also a good playground for children there. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.

Superb hotel with beautiful food, lovely atmosphere, immaculate, dog friendly and a lovely park behind the hotel for the dogs to have a walk. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I love this place and we will return.
