One of the best places we have stayed at. Lovely welcome, water and biscuits in the room, spotlessly clean and everything nicely provided, we used the immaculate kitchen to make a meal and had use of the swimming pool. Set in a beautiful rural location, the local town Bazas is 15 mins away and has just about everthing that you could need. Thank you to our hosts and what a pleasure to stay with you

We had a let down in our originally booked accommodation and found Les Vieille tuiles from a last minute search on Booking.com. Having only given Bruno and Marika three hours notice of booking, they had everything prepared and ready for us when we arrived. The accommodation, deep in wooded countryside close to Cudos, was spacious with a pool on the doorstep. The location and surrounding countryside was excellent, as were our hosts Bruno & Marika who were so attentive. Wonderful croissants and fresh eggs laid by their own chickens, virtually on your doorstep, every morning for breakfast. Cudos itself is a small village but has a nice shop where you can stock up. It also has a restaurant which looked rustic & quaint, but unfortunately it was not open during our stay. Bazaz is the closest town with a cathedral dedicated to St. John the Baptist, interesting streets to explore and good shopping. On our final evening we had dinner there in one of the many very good restaurants, on the day of the annual St John the Baptist festival. A wonderful colourful and entertaining evening and perfect end to our stay.

Bedroom was lovely, bedding was exceptional. Host was there if you needed her. My little girl loved that there was a trampoline she could use and other play equipment. We didn't use the pool as it was covered up and we weren't there long enough. Breakfast was simple but lovely and filling. Thank you

We stayed in order to visit the Fete des Boeuf Gras Bazas. For us, communications were top class, with a caring and warm welcome, which was totally evident throughout our stay. Our room, 11, could not have been more perfect for our needs. The location of the hotel was perfect, in order to easily walk to centre ville, and what a treat centre ville is, the most magnificent Cathedrale, and surrounding historic buildings. At the Rodin, there is a comfortable shared lounge, and quaint terrace at the entrance. The Hotel is newly refurbished to a high standard, Fenella and staff could not have been more helpful, she booked a table at the fabulous Indigo for us. For travellers, there is a laundrette right next to the Hotel. Easy parking is normally opposite the Hotel, Make time to visit La Cave, on the short walk to the Cathedrale. We have pleasure in recommending 100% the Rodin and its Owner.
