The place is a very good B and B in the small village of Sore, very quiet and the host is the retired village blacksmith who aims to please e.g. showing us the old forge. I had a wonderful stay at La Palombiere while I was walking the Chemin de Vézelay. Xavier and Michelle are fabulous hosts. The house is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious, including a freshly fried egg from one of their chickens. When I left to continue my walk they even sent me off with a bag of cherry tomatoes from their garden!

We had a great stay! Pierre and Joelle are very welcoming and very sweet! It was a pleasure to be hosted by them. The room is spacious and clean, very comfortable. The breakfast by the pool was also cool. We'd love to visit again
