Lovely hotel, friendly welcome. Nice bar, stayed for dinner too which was very good. Travelling by bike and they stored them in their garage. Hearty breakfast...all good.

Apart from anything else, the building is fascinating! The room was large, the bathroom big enough to host a party. It's a short walk into the town, and a short walk to the casino if that's your style. The nearby Valhalla restaurant is good for an evening meal - but you need to book a table. Otherwise they can serve charcuterie and cheese. The cycle storage was a huge secure garage.

The town has a pretty church and all the shops we needed, including of course a fromagerie, from which to buy the local heart-shaped cheese. At the same time it was quite quiet and had adequate parking.

The town was rebuilt in 1940's after extensive war damage...

The town was rebuilt in 1940's after extensive war damage and today is a busy market town with lots of good shops and restaurants and an excellent place to stay and explore on foot or by bike along the many miles of the Avenue Verte (former railway line converted to a wonderful rural pathway) the beautiful Normandy countryside of the Pays de Bray with upland beech woods, rolling pastoral farm fields (source of the milk for the heart-shaped and very creamy Neufchatel cheese) and lowland cerial crops. It is a working town and not a tourist centre (which we very much prefer) with multiple facilities but few historic buildings following war damage yet its people are very welcoming and service provision excellent.

Welcoming and friendly staff and a lovely flower filled sunny courtyard and comfortable outdoor dinning area. In the middle of town but ver quiet and easy to park. The food was exceptional . The best vegetarian food we’ve had in France. My husband thought the boeuf bourgignon was excellent. Highly recommend this delightful small hotel! Oh and it was absolutely spotless. We are looking forward to staying again.

Brilliant location in a lovely town. Very helpful staff. Public car park behind hotel, which was free to use, convenient and felt totally safe. Spotlessly clean room. Hotel has a bar and restaurant, and there are a range of eateries on the doorstep. We ate in the excellent Italian restaurant next door. Brilliant communication before arrival. We felt welcomed and appreciated as customers.

The welcome here was fantastic. We were travelling in company with friends in very old cars (1924 and 1925). One of them had a breakdown and the hotel kept the kitchen open until well after normal closing time just to accommodate us.
